sundays

Ninety minutes, shaped by two thousand years.

Beginning September 27, each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. we will gather at Franklin Events Center, 4801 Franklin Avenue. Our liturgy follows the ancient pattern of the Church, gathered around Word and Table. It is not performance. It is participation.

the order of service

A pattern we can return to.

i.

Gathering & Call to Worship

Music begins. We arrive as we are — distracted, hopeful, weary. The Call invites us to turn our attention together.

ii.

Songs of Adoration

Two to three songs of praise — ancient hymns and contemporary worship side by side, led from the Nord Stage with two vocalists.

iii.

Confession & Assurance

A spoken prayer of confession in unison, followed by the pastoral assurance of pardon. We are reminded who we are — beloved, forgiven, sent.

iv.

The Reading of Scripture

Old Testament, Psalm, Gospel. Read aloud. The Word of the Lord — thanks be to God.

v.

Sermon

A teaching from the Scripture just read — usually 22 to 28 minutes. Expository, Wesleyan, and rooted in the everyday.

vi.

The Lord's Table

Regularly. Bread and cup, broken and poured, given freely. All who follow Jesus are welcome at the table.

vii.

Sending & Benediction

A final song, a blessing, and a sending — back into the week, into the parking lot, into the garden being tended.

Such as these

A note on the kids.

Children worship with us in the room. Wiggles, snacks, and questions are welcome. They are not interrupting — they are the church.

the first sunday

September 27, 2026. We go public.

We are not yet gathering for Sunday worship. We are spending these weeks preparing the room at Franklin Events Center to receive a city — spiritually, logistically, and corporately — so that when the doors open, they open well.

On September 27, 2026, we go public — the first Sunday we open the doors wide to the city, at Franklin Events Center. If you'd like to be there, leave us a note and we'll watch for you.
