A place for our church family, sister congregations, and friends to help furnish what God has already opened the door to.
After a long season of closed doors, God provided a home for 1927 Church in a way none of us could have engineered. We're not able to share every detail publicly yet, but we can tell you this: the door opened at the very top, not the bottom.
A traditional barn raising is a community gathering around one family to build what a farm needs for the harvest. This is ours. The Upper Midwest Conference and friends of the church-planting movement are gathering around 1927 to pray, give, build, and send as we prepare for September 27.
This is a “baby shower” for a new church. Below is our registry: real, specific needs, organized so you can choose what fits your heart and your means.

How We Track & Acknowledge Your Gift
Every gift given through this registry is logged against the specific need it was given toward, so we — and our board — can always show exactly where each dollar went.
- You tell us what it's for. Our giving page includes a memo field — just note the item's name there when you give. That note is what lets us designate your gift correctly.
- We log it by item. Our treasurer records every designated gift — online or by check — against the registry item it was given for, alongside our general giving records.
- Our board reviews it monthly. A summary of designated giving and registry progress is part of our regular monthly financial reporting to the 1927 board.
- You receive an accurate statement. Your annual giving statement reflects the full amount you've given to 1927 Church, and our internal records show which gifts were designated to registry needs.

Questions Donors Ask
Giving FAQ
A few common questions about giving to the registry — email hello@1927church.org if yours isn't answered here.
How do I know my gift went where I intended?
After you give, the “Email us” link on each item sends us a note naming exactly what your gift was for. Our treasurer logs it against that item, and it's reflected in the monthly report we give our board.
What if an item is already fully funded when I give?
We update this page as items are claimed. If you give toward something that's already funded — or if we're unable to fill a need as described — your gift is redirected to the next-highest registry priority or to the General Fund, at the church's discretion.
Will I get a giving statement for tax purposes?
Yes. 1927 Church issues an annual giving statement reflecting your total gifts for the year, whether given online, by check, or through the registry.
Is my gift secure?
Online gifts are processed securely through Zeffy; we never see or store your card or bank information. Check gifts go directly to our treasurer, David Philmon.
Who do I contact with questions about a gift I've already made?
Email hello@1927church.org anytime — that inbox is monitored by our team and is the fastest way to reach us about a gift, a receipt, or anything else on this page.
